๐Ÿ“ป FNMA welcomes a significant commitment to First Nations radio

We welcome the Australian Governmentโ€™s commitment to support First Nations radio broadcasters in cities without one, including Adelaide, Canberra and Hobart.

This is an important step towards strengthening First Nations broadcasting and ensuring more communities can hear First Nations voices, stories, culture and perspectives.

We look forward to working with government and our members to ensure this commitment delivers sustainable, long-term opportunities for First Nations media.

๐Ÿค Great to catch up with the team at 2tlp 103.3 Ngarralinyi Radio Station yesterday! Thanks for the warm welcome and for sharing the amazing work you're doing in the community. Looking forward to continuing to work together and seeing you again at CONVERGE 2026! ๐ŸŽ‰

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Corrine and Wally from First Nations Media Australia to Biripi Country๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ

We spent the day sitting down together, sharing ideas, talking about the future, and enjoying lunch together. It was a fantastic day, and we left feeling inspired and even more excited about whatโ€™s ahead for Ngarralinyi Radio.

Through the toughest 6 years weโ€™ve faced, throughout that entire journey, First Nations Media Australia never stopped standing beside us.

They believed in our vision, advocated for our station, fought for us behind the scenes, and made sure our voice was heard. When things were difficult, they were always in our corner.

Support like that is something you never forget.

As we continue to grow, build, and create new opportunities, we havenโ€™t walked this journey alone. The encouragement, guidance and belief shown by First Nations Media Australia has helped us continue chasing our dreams and building something truly special.

To Corrine, Wally, and Mikayla at First Nations Media Australia - thank you.

Your support over the years has meant more than words can express๐ŸคŽ
