On Wednesday 24th September at Aspley Hornets, Bunya Toastmasters Club celebrated two occasions, Bunya Toastmasters Club turning 40 and Barrie Fuller's 50 years as a Toastmaster. We had a lot of guests, past members, several members of Barrie's extended family, and more. Food and drinks were provided.
We had a Round Robin titled 'Down Memory Lane' where we mentioned our past experiences in Toastmasters. It was good to catch up with people, some we hadn't seen in years. There were good vibes, humour, and it felt more like a reunion than a Toastmasters meeting. A lot of attendees believe it to be the best meeting of the year.
