There are many layers to a cottage garden: plants of varying sizes and shapes, their flowers and their scent. Filling the air with delicious fragrance at the moment are Brunfelsia. Commonly called Yesterday,Today and Tomorrow these plants get this name because their flowers change colour as they age giving the appearance of multicoloured blooms all at one time. There are though many forms of this hardy garden plant: forms with flowers that change from white to gold, or a couple of pure white flowering forms. There are even a couple with variegated foliage. They are free flowering shrubs native to central and South America which vary in size from 1m up to 4m depending on variety. Grow in a frost free position in a morning sun to dappled light position. Definitely worth considering if you don’t already have one.

Poppy Judith Hobbs is having a native planting day Wednesday 30th September start 9am 'till done. Supported by Funding from the CWCN.
She needs some Volunteers ‼️can anyone help?
Gloves, knee pads if you have them, trowel, gardening clothes and water. Please phone Judith M on 0438 582 749 if you can help. The holes will be predug and there will be a possum funeral and Bucket Worm Farming demonstrated.
