St John's Old Collegians' Association

St John's Old Collegians' Association All past students from St John's Anglican College (also formerly known as Forest Lake College) from 2000 to recent graduates.

Old Collegian refers to all former students who attended, Forest Lake College or St John’s Anglican College, since 2000. On graduation from the College, the student is inducted as an Old Collegian with lifetime membership. St John's Old Collegians' Association provides an opportunity for past graduates to network, connect and support each other, long after graduation, as the lives of alumni inevit

ably evolve and change through their life journey after school. For an Old Collegian, it also provides an important link between fellow past students and the current College community. Old Collegians can maintain contact with and provide support for the College through their involvement in reunions, special events, mentoring and tutoring current students and promoting the good name and reputation of the College. If you would like to get involved in actively supporting the Association please contact us via [email protected]

Due to the current condition of the grounds and forecast weather, our College Carnival has been postponed and will now take place on Saturday 18 July 2026.

While we know this news may be disappointing, the safety and enjoyment of our community remains our priority. Thank you to everyone who has supported preparations for this much-loved event.

We look forward to bringing our College community together for a fantastic Carnival in July.

Last week, our community came together to celebrate International Women’s Day and the theme “Give to Gain.”

We are incredibly proud to welcome two of our Old Collegians, Dr Delaforce (OC 2003) and Ms Bui (OC 2018), who shared their journeys since leaving the College. From healthcare and research to education and technology, their stories reminded our students that leadership often begins with giving back to others.

We were also honoured to hear from Dr Tromans, Director and CEO of International House at The University of Queensland and Chair of the St John’s College Council, who shared powerful insights about leadership, courage, and using your voice to create change.

It was a special moment for our students to see members of our own community leading, serving, and making an impact in the world.

Thank you to our panellists for inspiring the next generation of women to lead with purpose and to our students for engaging so thoughtfully in the conversation.
