Farewell to the past ! Embrace a better tomorrow!

Today, our board members and board members to-be get together to review our performance and plan our future. This a milestone meeting and a starting point of a new chapter.

We are also very happy to welcome members from Shanxi Province (山西)。This means we are literally not "Northwestern Chinese"association anymore, we now become "The Alliance of Northern Heritage"!

☀️✨ Lunisolar New Year ✨🌙

Chunjie (Aka Spring Festival, Lunisolar New Year) is one of the most important celebrations in many cultures. It marks the beginning of a new year based on the lunar solar calendar, usually falling between late January and mid-February.

We celebrate because it is about:
🏮 Family reunions
🧧 Honouring ancestors
🍊 Wishing for health, prosperity, and good fortune
🎆 Fresh starts and new beginnings

This year, we co-host the first celebration event with Edu-Kingdom College Indooroopilly. We'd also like to thank Cr Penny Wolff for your support and joining us to celebrate with us together 🧨🧧

2026 is Year of the Fire Horse, may the horses' energy carry you to new adventures and successes, and may all your heart's desires be fulfilled!🎉🧧

"Your story is our story"...and being multicultural doesn't mean less Aussie!

It's a celebration of Queensland’s Diversity, and it's truly amazing to see the diversity of Queensland's multicultural communities get together and connect!

Our association is honoured to join fellow multicultural leaders and receive the Certificates of Appreciation from the Premier at the 2025 Multicultural Community Reception at the Queensland Parliament on 20th August.

A big thank you for Premier, the Hon. David Crisafulli MP and the Minister for Multiculturalism, the Hon. Fiona Simpson MP , for hosting this wonderful event and for your commitment to support multicultural organisations!🎊🎖

It’s a traditional festival in China that rivers come alive with the thunder of drums and racing dragon boats, and people make zongzi — sweet or savory, wrapped with bamboo leaves.

NCAQ is an association member of the amazing Queensland Chinese Forum and Chinese Community Crime Prevention Consultative Committee, a few of our board members recently attended the QCF & CCCPCC's Christmas Celebration function.

Thanks to president Clement and the executive team at the Queensland Chinese Forum for providing a such great opportunity to get together EOY, we enjoyed the golfing with Police as well!
