🚨 Help Protect the Tyndalls from Overdevelopment 🚨
The proposed Tyndalls Great Walk project could bring heavy construction, helicopter traffic, and private accommodation pods into one of Tasmania’s most beautiful and wild alpine areas.
As a community that values low-impact recreation and public access, the Australian Slackline Association (ASA) is deeply concerned that this development:
• Industrialises wilderness with excessive huts and private pods
• Risks limiting public access in favour of “premium” experiences
• Raises serious safety risks for climbers and highliners due to helicopter activity
We’re asking our members and outdoor friends to take action : it only takes a few minutes to send a submission opposing the current proposal.
👉 How to help:
1. Copy or adapt our letter template (copy from comment below)
2. Send it to the Tyndalls Great Walk Project Team before submissions close
Let’s stand together for wild places, public access, and safe recreation.
Every voice counts. 🌿
