A late venue change didn't stop this great turnout at Deep Blue Cafe for coffee and conversation!

Thanks to Clare & Christina for hosting this one.

Feedback from the group indicated that they'd like MORE coffee catchup's. We'd LOVE to be able to facilitate this, but need more boots on the ground. Many of our SA support group volunteers are working and so can't always be available for mid-week events.

Yesterday we held another Swell Talk at Cancer Council SA on Compression Therapy for Lymphoedema Management.

A small but enthusiastic group turned up to learn more about compression pumps and garments and have an opportunity to try them out.

Despite the terrible heatwave in Adelaide, we had a decent turnout to our Swell Talk at the Cancer Council.

Kylie Bradley & Kellie Thomas discussed the role of diet in Lymphoedema management.

With the mercury reaching 41 degrees in the north, we had a small but committed number at today's support group meeting at the new Caffe Primo at Munno Para.

With regulars and new guests, it was a great discussion on everything lymphoedema!

Sharon Tilley's presentation at the Yorke Peninsula Lymphoedema Expo on Saturday included a run through about the in's and out's of compression garments, the compression garment subsidy scheme and what to expect during treatment.

At the Yorke Peninsula Lymphoedema Expo on Saturday we also heard from Dr Vani Prasad sharing the benefits of Indocynanin Green Lymphography (ICG) and the surgical options for lymphoedema.
