RDAQ recognises the passing of long-time North Queensland doctor and RDAQ Life Member Digby Hoyal with great sadness. Digby was a Life Member (2005) and Past-president of RDAQ
(1993-1995) and a stalwart to the NQ region from Cloncurry to Malanda and beyond.
Digby was one of the highly dedicated, passionate rural doctors who formed RDAQ in 1989-90.
He was our 2nd Secretary and our 4th RDAQ President. He was instrumental in the formation of RDAA and later RDAA Secretary and President.
RDAQ extends our care and thought to Digby's wife Anne and his family, he will be missed by his rural doctor community.
