Much appreciation to our very own George Hulse for organising the Military Working Dog (MWD) Day at the RSPCA Campus Wacol, Sunday 7 June 2026. The event was supported by the RSPCA at Wacol, the Toowong RSL Sub-branch and the Australian Defence Force Trackers and War Dogs Association (ADFTWDA).

Congratulations to the Australian Remembrance Army for their Saturday unveiling of 83 further plaques on the previously unmarked graves of WWI soldiers at Lutwyche Cemetery. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

LOCAL AUTHOR BOOK LAUNCH

Toowong RSL is hosting the launch for “The First Anzacs” by local author George Hulse. We would like to invite you to this free event on 13 April at the St Lucia Bowls Club.

The RSL will provide free pizza and drinks will be available for sale. Please RSVP so we know how many to cater for.

On Saturday 20th September, 162 WWI plaques were unveiled at Lutwyche Cemetery thanks again to the hard work of Australian Remembrance Army.
