Bhartiya Samaj was honoured to attend and support the Executive Cultural Event at African Village, Moorooka, an inspiring evening that celebrated cultural diversity, community connections, and the power of education to transform lives.

The event brought together community leaders, supporters, and multicultural organisations for a memorable celebration featuring traditional African cultural performances, music, storytelling, and meaningful discussions about creating opportunities for future generations.

We were particularly inspired by the remarkable work of the Athiei Foundation, which is committed to building a school in South Sudan and providing access to education for children who need it most. Their vision reflects the belief that education creates opportunity, empowers communities, and helps build a brighter future.

A sincere thank you to Beny Bol, the Athiei Foundation team, and all organisers, volunteers, performers, and supporters who made this wonderful event possible. Events like these demonstrate the strength of multicultural Queensland and the positive impact that communities can achieve when they come together with a shared purpose.

We encourage our community to learn more about and support this meaningful initiative as it continues to create hope and opportunity for young people through education.

Together, we can build stronger communities, celebrate diversity, and create lasting positive change.

🌍✨ Bhartiya Samaj team members were honoured to attend the spectacular Executive Cultural Event held at the African Village, Moorooka, celebrating culture, community spirit, and educational opportunities across South East Queensland.

The evening featured vibrant traditional African dance performances, live music, cultural storytelling, and inspiring conversations led by Samoko Jayo Okoth, Nil Armah and Yenenesh Nigusse in support of the Athiei Foundation.

We are deeply inspired by the incredible work of Athiei Foundation, which is building a school in South Sudan to provide education and hope for underprivileged children and help break the cycle of disadvantage through learning and opportunity. 📚❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Beny Bol and the organisers for bringing communities together and promoting unity through culture and compassion.

We encourage everyone to support this wonderful cause and help make a difference in the lives of young children in need. Together, we can build a brighter future for all. 🌏🤝
