Surf Life Saving Foundation Surf Life Saving Giving (Formerly Surf Life Saving Foundation) was established as the fundraising arm of Surf Life Saving Australia.

A not-for-profit community cause, funded by donations, fundraising, corporate sponsorships and government grants. Surf Life Saving has a proud tradition of saving lives for over 100 years. Surf lifesavers volunteer their time to provide a dedicated lifesaving service around the country however, we exist only through community donations, fundraising and sponsorships.

Just after sunrise on Good Friday, volunteer Surf Lifesavers from Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club launched an IRB into dangerous 10-foot surf to rescue two young men who had been swept into a powerful rip and dragged around the rocks.
