Earth Kids Homeschool is a nature-based learning adventure for kids aged 6–12. Expect a term full of gardening, storytelling, art-making, cubby-building, fire cooking, fauna and fungi exploration, seasonal observations, games, and more — all outdoors!

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our graduates of the NSCF Winter Permaculture Design Course! These amazing students spent 12 Saturdays learning about permaculture principles and domains, diving into hands-on experiential learning in the gardens, and designing their own project.

🧡Another permaculture domain is Tools and Technology 🚲🛠️🪚
This domain explores how we use tools and technology to capture, store and use energry in a permaculture system.🌿

In our Permaculture Design Course, we explore how we can use tools and technology to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and increase our reliance on renewable energy from the sun, wood, wind and water. 💨💦☀️🪵 Some examples include using micro-hydro systems, rocket stove cooking, and handtools.

The PDC course runs over 12 Saturdays from 29 August - 28 November. Early bird tickets are still available!
