We provided lots of gorgeous baby fabrics and made up these ice bags for the Hummingbird House Children's Hospice post-natal clinic. These bags protect the babies from being against the plastic ice bags making it more comfortable for their tender skin.

This Sunday's project was a community project of making puppy whelping boxes for Qld Guide Dogs. With thanks the materials were donated by Bunnings Carseldine as a joint venture project.
Our girls used their skills with measuring, cutting with circular saws and jigsaws, and sanding to create the first of 2 boxes, yet to be painted.
Well done girls and great to see such fantastic teamwork.
We will be doing the next box on Friday - so get involved for this very worthy cause and sign up now!

Another busy day at the shed, with our members working on their own projects:-
1. a compartmented storage tray for a work ute,
2. a cutting board from "rough" to "ready" to use after oiling,
3. a small cabinet from scrap plywood, and
4. some scroll sawed Christmas bell decorations to be gifted.

Fabulous! Keep up the great work ladies.

At Sunday's Workshop we had a whale of a time creating 3D whales on the scroll saw.

With a little sanding after cutting, they turned out a treat. Then add some pyrography for an eye and mouth, and yet to add a finish.

Busy day at the shed today with our members working on their own projects. Some making tool boxes for a ute, finishing a lovely deli board/cutting board, cutting out camphor discs to scent the wardrobe and keep the nasty insects away. Great jobs ladies!
