During our participation in the OECD conference in Uruguay, ALELD hosted a roundtable bringing together experts from technology, public policy, economics, and industry to discuss the opportunities and challenges of Artificial Intelligence.
Together, we explored key questions around AI implementation and gathered insights to inform our upcoming AI Communiqué.

🇦🇺🌎 A quick ping pong with the OECD!

During our time in Uruguay for the OECD Ministerial Summit for Latin America and the Caribbean, we had the opportunity to get to know one of the most interesting spaces at the conference, where young leaders meet to discuss their concerns towards IA. Youthwise consultation!

From Latin America to Australia, we explored ideas, perspectives and the connections that make international cooperation so meaningful.

Yesterday at Universidad Católica del Uruguay 🇺🇾, UCU Business School ALELD brought together emerging leaders, diplomats, experts and professionals from different sectors for a workshop exploring one of the key conversations shaping our future: Artificial Intelligence and productivity.

Following the discussions and insights from the OECD Ministerial Summit, we created a space to reflect on how AI is transforming, and will continue to transform, sectors including mining, education, social development and technology.

Our expert panel brought together diverse perspectives from across these fields, followed by an interactive exchange with young participants to explore opportunities, challenges and the role of emerging leaders in shaping the future of AI.

For ALELD, dialogue means bringing different sectors, experiences and generations to the same table.
