This project is a collaborative program where the Colombians and friends of Colombia come together to celebrate Colombian heritage through artistic cultural expression. The celebration benefits the community because it is the most important event in the Colombian calendar, an event which celebrates Colombian heritage, and provides the Australian community with an opportunity to observe the rich an

d colourful music, dance and food of the third largest country in South America. The event will provide a means of expression for diverse cultural practice and acknowledge the contribution made by diverse cultures.

"Buenos días, familia Llaneros en Australia!

Nuestra primera Parranda Llanera, FLAVOURS OF THE PLAINS fue un rotundo éxito! El 5 de octubre, llenamos el lugar con una energía y júbilo contagiosos.

Queremos agradecer a nuestros talentosos artistas:

- Cachicamo Latin Harp , con Sandra Esperanza Real l y Anderson Montana Harpist en un contrapunteo de arpas inédito.
- Nuestros cantantes: Paula Rodriguez , John Sánchez y Enrique Alfredo Soria .
- El grupo de danza CDG - Colombian Dance Group QLD y la explosiva pareja de baile Llanero profesional "Plains Gold Dancers".

También disfrutamos de la deliciosa comida de La La Arepa Brava y la exposición de artesanías de Onawa

La audiencia respondió con entusiasmo, aplaudiendo y cantando junto a la banda. Fue un día mágico e inolvidable para muchos.
