في يومٍ مميز امتلأ بالمحبة والبركة، اجتمعنا في كنيسة Saint Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church Brisbane للاحتفال بعيد الأم، تكريمًا لأجمل عطايا الله في حياتنا… أمهاتنا ❤️
كانت لحظات مليئة بالدفء، الدعاء، والامتنان، حيث شاركنا معًا فرحة لا تُنسى مع الأمهات اللواتي يزرعن الحب والتضحية في كل بيت.
كل ابتسامة، كل دمعة فرح، وكل كلمة شكر خرجت من القلب كانت شهادة حقيقية على مكانة الأم العظيمة في حياتنا.
نصلي أن يحفظ الله كل أم، ويبارك في عمرها وصحتها، ويملأ حياتها بالسلام والفرح كما ملأت حياتنا حبًا وعطاءً.
كل عام وأمهاتنا بألف خير 🌷

On a special day filled with love and blessings, we gathered at Saint Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church Brisbane to celebrate Mother’s Day, honoring the most beautiful gifts God has given us in our lives… our mothers ❤️

It was a time full of warmth, prayers, and gratitude, as we shared unforgettable moments with the mothers who plant love and sacrifice in every home.

Every smile, every tear of joy, and every heartfelt word of thanks was a true reflection of the great place mothers hold in our lives.

We pray that God protects every mother, blesses her with long life and good health, and fills her life with peace and joy just as she has filled ours with love and giving.

Happy Mother’s Day to all our mothers 🌷

As we remember the ultimate sacrifice of love, we come together in faith, reflection, and reverence.

وعندما علمت الجموع أن يسوع قادم، خرجوا لاستقباله بفرح عظيم.
ففرشوا ثيابهم في الطريق، وقطعوا أغصان النخيل والزيتون ولوّحوا بها، علامة للنصر والترحيب بالملوك.

وكانوا يصرخون بصوت عالٍ:
"أوصنّا لابن داود! مبارك الآتي باسم الرب! أوصنّا في الأعالي!"

دخل يسوع المدينة لا كملك أرضي قوي، بل كملك وديع ومتواضع، راكبًا على جحش، مُحققًا النبوءة القديمة:
"هوذا ملكك يأتيك... وديعًا وراكبًا على حمار."

وبينما كان الجميع يفرحون ويهتفون، اعترض بعض الفريسيين وطلبوا منه أن يُسكت تلاميذه،
فأجابهم قائلاً:
"أقول لكم: إن سكت هؤلاء، فالحجارة تصرخ!"

وهكذا، امتلأت أورشليم بالفرح والترقب، لكن هذا الفرح كان بداية طريق الآلام،
حيث أن نفس الجموع التي هتفت له في هذا اليوم، ستصرخ بعد أيام: "اصلبه! اصلبه!"

A great crowd gathered to welcome Him.
They spread their cloaks on the road and waved palm branches, rejoicing and shouting:

"Hosanna to the Son of David!
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!"

Jesus entered not as a worldly king, but as a humble King of peace, fulfilling the prophecy:
"See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey."

Some Pharisees asked Him to rebuke His disciples, but He answered:
"If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."

Jerusalem was filled with joy, yet this joy marked the beginning of the path to the cross.
The same crowd that praised Him would soon cry out, "Crucify Him!"
