A big thank you to everyone who joined us at tonight’s meeting!

It was fantastic to see such a great turnout of members, visitors and newer faces joining BJC.

We love seeing our club grow and welcoming new people into the mix!

Thank you also to Andrew for tonight’s Jeep Talk on Basic Tools for Your Jeep and why carrying the right/basic tools is so important, it certainly generated a lot of discussion.

A convoy of 10 Jeeps set off from Woodford, making our way into the Bellthorpe National Park for a day of exploring.

Our first stop was Stony Creek Day Use Area, where we headed in via Branch Creek Road to air down and check out the rock pools. They’d be a great spot to cool off once the weather warms up!

From there, we continued on to Beacon Lookout, taking in the views across Kilcoy and the surrounds with a bit of smoke haze. Along the way, almost every Jeep managed to collect a branch or two… or several!

Unfortunately, several tracks in the area were closed, so we headed back the way we came before continuing on to Brandon’s Mill. We took some time to explore the old building foundations and remnants, adding a bit of history to the day.

Thanks to Dane for trip leading & as always providing a great commentary through out the day!

With the trip coming to an end, we followed Goodla Road onto Sandy Creek Road, where we aired back up before heading home.

We had a great mix of members and visitors, with just under 30 people joining us.

A big thanks to Dane for tonight’s Jeep Talk on UHF channels, plenty of useful info and tips shared.

Our next meeting will be Tuesday 13th October at Edinburgh Castle Hotel.

We’ll see you there!
