📢 CALLING ALL AAS SCHOLARS — the deadline has been extended!
We’ve had a wonderful response to our first call for EOIs, and we’re opening the door a little longer so even more of you can get involved. ✨ If you’ve been thinking about stepping into leadership, this is your moment!
We’re inviting UQ AAS Scholars to apply for:
📌 Secretary (2 positions)
• Record and distribute accurate minutes of all UQSAAS meetings
• Maintain society records, correspondence, and official documentation
• Coordinate internal communications between committee members
• Assist the President in organising meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions
• Ensure compliance with UQ Union requirements and the UQSAAS Constitution
📌 Events & Administration Sub-Committee (4 positions)
• Plan, organise, and manage club events, workshops, and activities
• Work with other committee members to ensure successful ex*****on of events
• Gather feedback and improve future events based on member engagement
• Ensure all events align with the club’s objectives and budget constraints
📌 Marketing & Communications Sub-Committee (4 positions)
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the club and its activities
• Manage the club’s social media, website, and promotional materials
• Design posters, flyers, and digital content for events and campaigns
• Communicate with members through newsletters, emails, and announcements
• Collaborate with other committee members to maximise event reach and engagement
