Did you know that you can take your recycling to HUB Neighbourhood Centre Inala?

Thanks to some wonderful folks from the Brisbane Taylor Bridge Rotary, we have a dedicated spot where you can bring some of those trickier to recycle items. Once full, volunteers come and collect the items and distribute them to the correct locations for recycling.

You can bring:
🔸Batteries
🔸Bottle caps
🔸Glasses/ spectacles
🔸Blister packs
🔸Electronic/ E-Waste
🔸Highlighters/ pencils/ pens
🔸X-rays!

You'll find the shelf just outside our front doors, meaning they are available at any time that conveniences you. Please respect our space, and don't overfill the drawers 😊 If you have larger items that don't fit, come chat to our friendly staff.

Last week our Neighbourhood Centre's Brisfest Community Choir took to the stage at La Boite Theatre on Friday in Community Choir the Musical.

During our weekly sessions they have been rehearsing to be a part of the "flashmob" part of the show during the big finale. It was a joy to see our community members singing their hearts out alongside the cast.

Thanks to Brisbane Festival for their continued support and dedication to bringing the arts out to Inala.
