Queensland's teachers have stood together, and won together, securing an interim pay increase during arbitration against the best efforts of the Crisafulli Government to stop them.

Great work Queensland Teachers' Union!

David Crisafulli talks a big game on youth justice. But once the photo ops end and the cameras go home, it’s hardworking union members left to clean up the mess.

Frontline workers in youth detention deserve safety, security, and respect, but all they're getting from this Government is an underfunded system that puts them at risk.

If the LNP is actually serious about youth justice beyond the slogans, it’s time to back up their words and deliver a fair deal for Australian Workers' Union - Queensland & NT Branch members.

As patronage increases, the unions representing crew on our city cats and city ferries are fighting for a better deal that manages fatigue and keeps workers and passengers safe.

Here's what it's all about.

Thank you for your ongoing support for our ferry crews as they fight for a better deal that gets people back out on the Brisbane River, safely.

Queensland will be around 35,000 construction workers short at the 2027–28 peak while, in June, the Crisafulli Government scrapped the policy that put apprenticeship targets on its own projects.

The Games are a once-in-a-generation chance to build a workforce for the future. Let’s seize this opportunity to build new skills and start new careers for Queenslanders.

That’s the message we took to a federal parliamentary inquiry this morning.

New revelations out of the inquiry into misconduct in the construction industry have left Jarrod Bleijie with some big questions to answer. Is this another Bleijie-blunder, or a sign of something more?

Why are these LNP ministers threatening domestic violence, housing, and child safety groups with funding cuts for speaking out instead of fixing the problems in their portfolios?

Taxpayer dollars should support Queensland's most vulnerable, not buy the Crisafulli Government a free pass on bad policy.

Integrity matters, and silencing advocacy isn't leadership. David Crisafulli promised us better than this.

BREAKING: Opposition Leader Steven Miles has signed our Hands Off Our Safety pledge to protect the laws keeping Queensland workers safe.

Every Queenslander, whether they work in a hospital or a construction site, in our schools or on our roads, deserves to come home safely at the end of every shift. No job or profit is worth a worker's life.

We will keep standing up to protect our nation-leading workplace health and safety laws against any attempts by the Crisafulli LNP Government to weaken them.

Thank you to Steven for meeting with frontline workers today and backing the campaign!

RIGHT ON TIME: Massive pay rise for thousands of Aussies delivered

Starting this week, food delivery drivers now have world-first rights, minimum standards, and fair pay.

This only happened because Transport Workers Union gig members got organised, fought back against an exploitative business model, and won big. Great work!

Every time Pauline Hanson is asked to choose between working Australians and the Liberal Party, she chooses Angus.

Weekend penalty rates? Voted with the Liberals. Lifting the minimum wage? Stood with the Liberals to oppose it. Now it's the super you've spent your working life building.

You don't back Australian workers by ripping away their retirements.
