🌟 Cross Country Course Update 🌟

We are excited to share that the build stage of our upgraded Cross Country Course is now complete! 🐴🎉

This fantastic project would not have been possible without the LNP - Liberal National Party election commitment and the support of and Christian Rowan MP. We are incredibly grateful for the investment in our club and our members.

A huge thank you to Darryl from Boonoona Designs Pty Ltd for the design, construction and hard work that has gone into creating our wonderful new course. We are thrilled with how it is coming together! 👏

There is still work to be done before the course is ready for use, so keep an eye out for our upcoming working bees. We’ll need our club community to help us get it finished and ready to go! 💪🐎

Thank you to everyone who has supported this project — we can’t wait to see horses and riders enjoying the new course! ❤️

🎉🐴 KARANA DOWNS PONY CLUB IS TURNING 40! 🐴🎉

This year, Karana Downs Pony Club is celebrating 40 years of providing pony club activities, training and events for our members and the wider community. 💚

As part of our celebrations we will be holding a Show Jump Training Day, so come along and watch our horses and riders go through their paces! 🐎🏇

From Pony Club to the world stage -

Karana Downs Pony Club would like to congratulate former member Brooke Dougall and her horse My Locky on representing Australia at the FEI Eventing World Championship u25 Millstreet 2026. Brooke and Locky had a top 20 finish coming 19th!!

July muster at Karana Downs pony club!

We started the day off warming up with troop drill and having a go at a pin wheel. We then did some sporting games and obstacle courses. Well done riders for giving everything a go. Thank you to our two amazing instructors for today!

Next muster is the 23rd of August, email will be sent out closer to the date.

🚨PSA 🚨
Reminder that our cross country course is CLOSED!!!
With the pending upgrade coming we have some unsecured fences around the grounds. Under no circumstances should any members and non members be jumping any XC jumps! Please bear with us, there has been ALOT of work behind the scenes to get the community these new and improved facilities. Watch this space.

Phase one of our new cross country course started today! The first lot of jumps arrived and were unloaded from the truck.

A HUGE thank you goes to Dr Christian Rowan MP and Queensland Department of Sport for making this possible.
