๐The Coorparoo State School Swim Club welcomes young swimmers from both Coorparoo State School and the wider community. ๐
The Club caters for swimmers of all ages and abilities; children do not have to be good swimmers to enjoy the benefits of our Swim Club. Members of other clubs are also welcome too. Coorparoo State School Swim Club members enjoy the benefits of:

๐๐ปโโ๏ธ CLUB NIGHTS
Friday nights are Club Nights where swimmers take part in time trials over 25m, 50m or longer in all strokes, with the aim of improving their own times. Once swimmers have achieved a qualification time over 25m they are eligible to swim in the 50m events. Members swim according to their PB (personal best time) rather than age, ensuring that swimmers race against others of similar standard. Times are recorded and improvement points are tallied at the end of each season, with trophies for each stroke awarded to the swimmers attaining the most points. ๐
The focus is on personal achievement and improvement and not whether individuals are the best swimmer in any given stroke or age group. A 25 metre assisted event is offered for BEGINNER swimmers ("Little-Uns"). Older children are encouraged to participate by assisting the younger swimmers in this event. This is an untimed event and improvement points are not awarded. Club policy is that we swim "rain or shine". The only time an exception is made to this policy is when severely inclement weather (electrical storm) is imminent and the safety of members may be affected. In this instance the Committee will make a decision to cancel Club Night no earlier than 6pm.
