We’re building a community‑driven 5‑Year Strategic Plan — and we need your voice!

Over the next 4 weeks, the P&C will be gathering ideas, experiences, and priorities from parents, carers, students, staff, and the wider Tarragindi community. Our goal is simple: a strategic plan shaped by the people who know our school best.

This plan will guide the P&C’s focus, investment, fundraising, and community initiatives for the next five years.

📅 Consultation Timeline – October/ November

4 weeks, 4 themes! You can contribute in person at the Friday Coffee Cart or online through short surveys.

Week 1 – Learning for the Future (Academics & Innovation)
What learning opportunities, resources, or programs should the P&C support to help students thrive?

Week 2 – The Heart of WHSS (Wellbeing & Inclusivity)
How can the P&C strengthen wellbeing, belonging, inclusion, and community connection?

Week 3 – Our Place & Space (Environment, Facilities & Safety)
What improvements to school spaces, safety, or sustainability should the P&C prioritise?

Week 4 – Connection & Community (P&C, Partnerships & Culture)
How can the P&C help families feel more connected and build stronger community partnerships?

☕ In Person- Friday Coffee Cart

Each Friday morning we’ll have:
A themed feedback board
Post‑its and pens for quick ideas
A suggestion box
Friendly volunteers ready to chat
Student voice activities running through SACCS and classrooms

💻 Online - 3 Minute Weekly Surveys
Each week, a short survey will be shared via:
School newsletter
P&C page
QR codes at the coffee cart
SACCS displays
You can respond to one week or all four — every voice matters.

Ways to support learning and wellbeing

Opportunities for partnerships and inclusion

Tickets for the inaugural P&C Adults Only Bingo & Disco Night on Saturday 7th November are selling fast.

Here’s some FAQs about the evening.
☺️No volunteers are required to run the event on the evening – come, sit back, relax and have fun
🏆Your entry ticket includes the chance to win lucky door prizes along with 10 winning bingo prizes including a Family Pass to the Brisbane Wheel, 2 x $50 Vouchers to RocknRoll Marketplace, a Family Camel Encounter at Summer Land Camels, TopStroke Golf voucher, $50 Anaconda Gift Card plus much more.
🪙Join in on exciting gold coin games between bingo rounds to win more prizes.
🥂Alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be available to purchase at the bar on the evening.

🪩No need to dance, this is an opportunity to relax, socialise and celebrate the end of our Centenary Year
🎶Yes, we will be creating a playlist, a link will be sent to attendees to add your song requests.
👥Invite your friends, you don’t need to be a current Wellers parent to be part of the fun. All attendees must be 18+

Our **P&C Father’s Day Stall is happening this Wednesday!** 🎁

⏰ **Don’t forget:** The cut-off for pre-purchasing vouchers via Flexischools is **tomorrow, Tuesday 1 September at 10:00am**.

💳 **Cash and card payments will also be accepted on the day.**

🙋‍♀️ **Volunteers are still needed!**
If you can spare some time to help make the day special for our students, your support between **10:30am–1:30pm** would be greatly appreciated.
