Join us for our third and final Optometry Educational Dinner for 2026!

We’re pleased to welcome Professor Chris Layton, presenting on the progress in Geographic Atrophy – treatment approvals in Australia.

Date: Wednesday 5th August 2026
Time: 6:30pm till 9pm
Venue: Wade Core Function Centre, Carina Leagues Club

This educational evening will cover the latest developments in Geographic Atrophy treatment approvals in Australia, while providing a great opportunity to connect with fellow optometrists and industry colleagues.

Our next Optometry Educational event is only a month away!

Professor Layton will be giving an update on Uveitis including anatomical classification; red flags for same-day referral; topical and systemic pharmacological management; emerging drug-induced uveitis patterns (GLP-1 receptor agonists, checkpoint inhibitors, bisphosphonates); and a practical co-management framework.

When: Wednesday 22nd April, 2026
Where: Wade Core Function Centre at the Carina Leagues Club
Time: 6:30pm registration and networking for a 7pm presentation
Cost: Free (proudly supported and funded by the Layton Vision Foundation)
Includes: Two course sit down dinner and drinks
