We are dedicated to providing sports, recreation and therapy programs for people with disability.

We are Queensland’s peak body for sport, recreation and fitness for people with a physical disability or vision impairment. We provide a wide range of programs and services through our offices in Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and Capricorn regions. Association membership is open to everyone – people with a disability, family members, friends and supporters.

Cairns kids, this one's for you.

Abilities Unleashed Kids is coming to Redlynch on Tuesday 25 August. It's a morning of giving different sports a go, meeting new people and finding a local club that feels like a good fit.

We'll be there running a boccia activation, so come and roll a few balls with us. It's a taste of what's coming to Cairns with the new Sporting Wheelies Cairns Hub.

All abilities welcome and no experience needed. Just come along and have some fun.

We made the news 📺

Channel 7 came out to our Toowoomba round, and our Participation & Education Lead Angelo Macaro was on camera talking about how the league came together and how it motivates participants to continue participating in sport.

Round 2 is in the books! 🏀

Hervey Bay Dingoes kept their perfect record going with two more wins, Spartans had a strong round taking down Wheel Contenders and Warriors, and Wheel Contenders picked up a good win over Warriors to keep things interesting on the ladder.

Blind Cricket this Thursday at Blind Sport Fundamentals!

Together with Blind Sports Australia, we run Blind Sport Fundamentals every Thursday for people who are blind or have low vision.

This week we're playing Blind Cricket. It's fast, loud and a lot of fun, and no experience is needed. Our coaches will run you through the basics and you'll be in the game before you know it.

Across the program you'll also try Blind Football, Blind Cricket and Exercise Physiologist-led sessions.

Big day for Caleb Bull 💪

He’s in Melbourne today for the Para Powerlifting Australia VIC Grand Prix at the NEC Hangar, lifting alongside athletes from across the country.

Caleb and our Exercise Physiologist Nic Elsey have put in a huge amount of work together to get to this point, and Nic has headed down with him for the weekend to see it through.

Round Two is on this Sunday in Toowoomba! 🏀

Six games, one big day of wheelchair basketball. Head to UniSQ (20 Baker St, Darling Heights) from 8.30am and cheer on the Spartans, Warriors, Wheel Contenders and the Hervey Bay Dingoes as they battle it out.

Free entry, bring your friends and family, and stick around for the whole day if you can.

Just a quick reminder that our Sporting Wheelies Clubhouse in Milton will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 12 August) for the Ekka public holiday 🎡

This includes gym access, allied health appointments and all regular Wednesday sports programs.

Hervey Bay Dingoes Wheelchair Basketball Club Inc making their mark in our inaugural Wheelchair Basketball Social League season. The Dingoes are heading down to Brisbane and Toowoomba to take on the competition, next stop Round 2 in Toowoomba this Sunday, August 16.

What a way to start off the season 🏀

Round 1 of the Social Basketball League brought the crowds, the noise, and some serious skill on court. Thanks to everyone who showed up, players and sideline supporters alike, you made it a great day.
