Greyhounds make excellent pets
Wynnum Manly Greyhound owners started in 2016 by local greyhound owner and lover Megan Angus. She was excited to see more and more greyhounds in the area living as pets and thought it would be a great idea to arrange a get together once every few months. The idea was to give greyhounds and greyhound owners the chance to socialise and show off just how awesome these dogs are en masse.
The first walk there were about 8 greyhounds, the word spread about this great event and there is often over 50 greyhounds attend and most recently 130 greyhounds at our epic Greyhound Festival held in May.
We invite everyone from all over Brisbane to join us for a casual stroll along the gorgeous Wynnum foreshore and all other breeds are more than welcome.
