June working bee today. Weeding and planting was easy in the water soaked soil. Many hands make light work. It was encouraging to see so much green growth in the area.
Morning tea afterwards was enjoyed by all thanks to ongoing funding from the Lord Mayorโ€™s Community Fund and Cr Marx.
Come and join us next month!

The Brandon Rd bushcare group would like to thank Cr Kim Marx and the Lord Mayor's Community Fund for their sponsorship and support through the past year!

Funding has allowed our group to attract volunteers to our big events like National Tree Day 2025 and Clean Up Day 2026. We've had an amazing group of people come together to care for our local bushland and watch it thrive!

We will continue to meet every second Sunday of the month- check here on Facebook for details- and continue the legacy of those who have cared for this bushland over many years to provide a beautiful natural area for the local residents, park visitors and wildlife.

Keep an eye out for this one!
