This year's beautiful Wavell Heights home goes to auction this Saturday, 8 August, with all proceeds supporting premature and seriously ill babies cared for at Mater.

A huge thank you to Plantation Homes and the volunteer trades and suppliers who make this incredible project possible.

💙 MEET MALAKAI - A MATER LITTLE MIRACLE!

When Malakai was born at 34 weeks with spina bifida, his family faced an uncertain journey. In his first year of life, he attended more than 70 appointments to help monitor and support his mobility.

Today, at four years old, Malakai is walking with only his ankle-foot orthosis, playing in a soccer competition, and as his mum proudly says, "the only problem now is slowing him down." ⚽

Malakai and his mum, Tahnee visited the Teddy Bear Hospital to give back to Mater Little Miracles and Mater Mothers Hospital who have been by their side throughout their journey.

Every teddy created at our Teddy Bear Hospital supports Mater Little Miracles, giving families access to life changing care, specialist equipment and support.

Thank you, Malakai, for reminding us just how powerful hope, care and community can be. 💙

Miracle Max hit the stage at the Day of Dance concert, hosted by Sayers Dance Centre and the Premier Dance Academy, and stole the show. 🕺💙

Through this event, the Premier Dance Academy raised an incredible $27,325 for Mater Giving Day, and with every dollar tripled, that’s a powerful $81,975 going towards Mater Little Miracles and giving our tiniest patients the very best start.
