Indigenous Bowel Screen

Indigenous Bowel Screen The project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participation in the NBCSP is low.

This page is part of a national project to increase the participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. People aged between 50 & 74 are sent a free National Bowel Cancer Screening Program screening test (NBCSP). Health professionals can help encourage more people to screen.
