At UQ Surfers our goal is to enhance people's interest in surfing and the ocean.Whether you're already a skilled surfer,simply keen to discover and learn surfing or just happy to tag along on a beach trip, this club will help you to find surf/beach buddies, learn about surfing and regularly meet up with your new friends for some well deserved beers! Hey Shred Legends 🌊

We’re heading to Rainbow Beach for a surf and camping mission at S.S. Dorrigo Campground— one of the most beautiful coastal spots north of Noosa.
Expect good waves, beach hangs, campfire vibes, and a whole heap of fun.
The campsite is a short walk to the beach, with multiple surf spots nearby catering to beginners through to experienced surfers.

Dates: September 26-29

Ticket Includes:
- Transportation (Carpooling from UQ)
- Dinners
- Some drinks 🍻
- Camping at S.S. Dorrigo Campgrounds
- Beach games + marshmallows around the fire🔥
- Elite vibes 🤙

Ticket Option:
Passenger Ticket: $160

This is a camping trip so you will need to bring camping gear and anything else you may need (We will also post a packing list in the trip’s group chat). Dinner is provided but you will need to bring food for breakfasts and lunches. The campsite has clean toilets.

⛓️‍💥 ZIP-TIED PUB GAMES ⛓️‍💥

Here’s how it works:

Meet in the Valley, Rics at 8pm, get paired with another surfer, and get zip-tied together for the night. Your mission is simple - complete a list of chaotic challenges across the Valley, film the evidence, and rack up as many points as possible.

🏆 Top 3 teams win surf trip prizes:

🥇 1st Place – FREE tickets to either the Byron or Straddie surf trip
🥈 2nd Place – 50% off surf trip tickets
🥉 3rd Place – 20% off surf trip tickets

Expect:
🍻 questionable decisions
📋 chaotic challenges
🎥 plenty of evidence
🌊 serious bragging rights

It’s student night, so expect cheap drinks and poor judgement.
