At Peach Tree, we believe parents and carers deserve opportunities to connect, share experiences and feel supported throughout every stage of their journey.

Finding the right support can make all the difference. 💛

At Peach Tree, we want every parent and carer to feel heard, understood and valued, whatever their journey looks like.

One of the key principles behind our lived experience approach is mutuality. At its heart, mutuality is about recognising that everyone brings valuable experiences, knowledge and perspectives to a supportive relationship.

Our peer workers bring their own lived experiences, while parents and carers bring their unique understanding of themselves and their families.

We're not here to tell you what to do or assume we know what's best for your family. We're here to listen without judgement, share experiences and walk alongside you in a way that feels right for you.

Today is World Mental Health Day 💛

This year’s theme, Together We Thrive, is a beautiful reminder of the role connection and community can play in our wellbeing.

At Peach Tree, lived experience is at the heart of what we do. We know that pregnancy and early parenthood come with plenty of change, learning and figuring things out as you go and having people around you who genuinely understand can make a difference.

Whether it’s a conversation, a shared experience, getting out of the house or simply spending time in a space where you can be yourself, looking after your mental health can take many forms.

This October, we’re celebrating the conversations, connections and communities that help us feel supported.

If you’re looking for a little more connection or support, you’re always welcome to reach out or come along to Peach Tree. We’d love to welcome you. 💛

Mental health support looks different for everyone, but community connection plays such an important part. 🍑

Yesterday, our Sunshine Coast team joined other clinical and community support services at Sunshine Coast University Hospital for Mental Health Week.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with local services, share conversations and highlight the support available within our community.

A few spaces remaining for our upcoming Shark Cage® programs! 🍑

Our Nundah and Coorparoo groups are starting this October, and there's still time to register your interest.

Shark Cage® is a supportive seven-week program for women who have experienced domestic or family violence, offering a space to explore healthy relationships, strengthen personal boundaries, recognise unhealthy patterns and build confidence.

The program is open to women who are currently pregnant and/or have a child aged five or under.

Upcoming start dates:
🍑 Nundah: Wednesday 14 October
🍑 Coorparoo: Wednesday 28 October

Looking for an excuse to get out of the house? 💛

There’s plenty happening across Peach Tree, with free groups, programs and activities for parents.

Come along for connection, support, something new to try or simply a change of scenery. Children aged 0 to 5 are welcome to come along with you.

Our groups are relaxed, welcoming and designed for you to join in however feels comfortable.

A wave hello. A shared cuppa. Getting out of the house. Joining an activity. Seeing a familiar face each week. 💛 Community can be built in the smallest of moments.

This Queensland Mental Health Week, from 3 to 11 October, the theme Build Community, Build Wellbeing celebrates the role that connection and belonging can play in our everyday wellbeing.

At Peach Tree, we see these moments happening all the time. Parents coming together for a group, little ones playing alongside each other and families finding somewhere they can relax, join in and feel part of their local community.

You don’t need to know anyone before you come along and you don’t need a special reason to join us. Sometimes it’s simply nice to get out of the house and be around other people.
