Tonight we heard from our two 2026 NYSF students James & Eliza who are looking at possible future careers in the Science and/or Technology fields.
The NYSF sessions allowed them to meet and talk with working scientists, discussing their career options, and to connect with other like-minded Year12 STEM students.

Respect is…

‘BIG Respect’ is fostering important conversations in communities across Queensland.

This collaboration between 54 reasons (Save the Children Australia), DVConnect, VictimConnect and photographer PollyannaR, invited people to write down what ‘respect is’ and have their portrait taken with their words.

The portraits act as conversation starters to get people talking about domestic and family violence, and understanding that we each have a role to play in ending it.

Challenge DV was invited to an exhibition of the portraits at GoodGood Cafe in West End, Brisbane, and it was wonderful to see so many Queenslanders who are standing up together against DFV.

Congratulations to 54 reasons (Save the Children Australia), DVConnect, VictimConnect and PollyannaR on your great work!

On 9/12/2023, President ChristineS & TRC's DV guru CarolynY visited the Redcliffe Art Society (RAS) to thank them for their very generous donation -the proceeds from their major fundraising raffle - which has provided the Windana Women's refuge with two much-needed Baby Strollers.
Bravo to the Redcliffe Art Society (RAS) and also to Baby Bunting,
who provided a very considerable discount on the stroller purchases.
