The 2/25th Infantry Battalion (Re-enacted) Group is a Brisbane based group that portrays Australian infantry during the Pacific theatre of WW2.

On this Day

18 July 1945, member of No.3 section, 2/25th Battalion barrage a Japanese position during the ongoing campaign in Balikpapan, Borneo.

On this Day

16th July 1945, B Troop 7th Battery of 2/4th Field Regiment shell Japanese positions with HE in support of an attack by 2/25th Battalion.

This artillery unit was portrayed as part of our attendance at History Alive 2019, and also saw action alongside 2/25th in 1941 during the Syria-Lebanon Campaign.

16 July 1945, the men of 25 Brigade find a crate of Japanese ci******es by the roadside in Balikpapan, which is quickly divided up. The man on the right is Private L.A. Creed of 2/25th Battalion.
