Home of Hands

Home of Hands A community which stands for refugee and asylum seeker children to feel peace, love and acceptance through massage.

This page is a platform for massage therapists, physiotherapists, community-based organisations and members of the public to unite for refugees and asylum seekers. On 9 August 2016, massage therapists and physiotherapists around the world will be teaching refugee and asylum seeker families how to massage their children. Massage therapy decreases cortisol levels (the stress hormone), increases sero

tonin (the happy hormone) and produces oxcytocin (the bonding hormone). Presentations and videos will be uploaded on this page to facilitate the awareness, education and training for the program.
