As Queensland Turkish Chamber of Commerce & Industry Association Incorporated, with Queensland Turkish Women Association, we had the honour of hosting remarkable event at Queensland Parliament, where we welcomed His Excellency Mr Ufuk Gezer, the Ambassador of Turkiye Türkiye in Australia. The event featured an engaging open public forum, bringing together business people and individuals from Turkish backgrounds to discuss and exchange ideas on strengthening the cultural and economical ties between Australia and Turkiye.

His Excellency emphasized the importance of such dialogues in building bridges between our two nations. The forum provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and networking opportunities, underscoring the importance of community engagement in building stronger relationships.

Queensland Turkish Chamber of Commerce & Industry Association Incorporated President Tugrul Durali shared invaluable insights into the current economic landscape in Queensland and highlighted the immense potential for bilateral trade and investment.

We were also privileged to have the President of Queensland Turkish Women Association, Burcin Ozturk, who spoke eloquently about the role of women in society and the importance of their contributions to economic and social development.

Yesterday, we had the honour of hosting the distinguished delegates to discuss collaboration between Queensland Turkish Chamber of Commerce & Industry Association Incorporated and Turkish Electrical and Electronics Exporters Association. Our discussions on and capability of Turkiye were insightful and thought-provoking, highlighting the depth of expertise and dedication within the Turkish Electro Technology community.

We're thrilled about the potential for collaboration and the opportunity to combine our efforts to drive positive change for trade between Turkiye and Queensland. I would like to extend our gratitude to Yilmaz for his excellent knowledge on topic and detailed presentation and thank Kalyon, Celayir from Turkish Electrical and Electronics Exporters Association, Kavaklioglu from Pamukkale Kablo, and Armağan Şakar from Elektra Elektronik for a productive and inspiring meeting!

President Dr. Tugrul Durali of the Queensland Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association Incorporated had the honor of visiting Ali Sevim, Consul-General of Türkiye, Yavuz Gökçayır, representing the Consulate General Office of Commercial Attaché in Sydney, and Dr. Cem Gençoğlu, Vice-Consul (Education) at the Turkish Consulate in Sydney. Special thanks for their warm welcome and insightful discussions. During our discussions, we explored avenues to enhance mutual cooperation.
