Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery Brisbane Australia is a Non-Profit Open Access Community Printmaking Studio and Gallery managed and supported by Fine Artist Volunteers. Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery is a volunteer artist managed facility that is located in the historic refurbished former Kedron Tram Substation No 8 at 134 Kedron Park Road Wooloowin. The building is now known as Ked

ron subARTStation, and the Impress Studio and Gallery provides for both members and the community an affordable open access printmaking studio and equipment, workshop classes, specialist tuition and exhibition opportunities in a friendly, safe and professional environment, with the added bonus of a gallery. Impress provides a stimulating environment that embraces both traditional and contemporary printmaking processes, as well as creating developmental, career and research opportunities for artists and the wider community.

The surrealists invented this drawing game in the 1920s. It's collaborative.
We start at 7pm.

**NEW** Reduction Linocut Printing.
Unlike multi-block linocut, the reduction linocut process produces multi-coloured prints with only one block. Artist Elyse Taylor specialises in this technique and creates beautiful, precise and delicate prints. Her workshop at Impress will be 4-5 July.

*Polyplate lithography workshop* by Jill O'Sullivan on 30 May 2026. Thank you to those who attended. We hope you enjoyed the technique and learned much.
Polyplate lithography is a chemical and acid-free processes which is less challenging than traditional stone lithography. It is printed with an etching press.
