We talk a lot about supporting mental health.

And we should.

But there’s something else we don’t talk about enough...

purpose.

Feeling part of something.
Contributing.
Being needed.

Because when young people feel connected to something meaningful…
it changes how they see themselves.
And sometimes, that’s where real growth begins.

Do you think purpose plays a role in student wellbeing?

What if a small donation could change a child’s school day? 💛

Currans Hill Public School is supporting the Silver Coin Project, helping provide essential items like uniforms, lunches, and school supplies to students who need them most.

These simple things can boost confidence, remove barriers, and help every child feel included.

Let’s come together as a community and make a real difference, one silver coin at a time. https://www.schoolaid.org.au/t/currans-hill-public-school-silver-coin-project

Not every child feels confident walking into a room.

For some kids, simple things feel big,
speaking up, joining in, being seen.

And because of that, they can slowly start to hold back…
even when they have so much to offer.

💛 But something changes when they feel part of something meaningful.
When they’re included, supported, and given a space to contribute,
they begin to open up, little by little.

Confidence doesn’t always come from being told to “be brave.”
Sometimes, it comes from feeling like you belong.

Every child deserves someone who will listen. 💙

Narellan Public School is raising funds to support Kids Helpline (1800 55 1800), a free and confidential service where young people can talk about anything on their mind.

Whether it’s stress, anxiety, bullying, or loneliness, Kids Helpline provides a safe space for children to feel heard, supported, and understood.

Together, we can help make sure no child feels alone.

INTRODUCING MR GORDON!

We are very excited to welcome our new Principal, Mr Sean Gordon, to our community!

"I’m looking forward to being on a team focused on growing a learning community so that the students we walk with become as hope-filled, optimistic, and forward-looking as possible on their way to becoming successful, well-adjusted, contributing members of adult society. I hope to bring energy and fun, with intention, to the team. I have several years of life experience in a variety of contexts to draw on, and I’ll use that where I can (and where it is welcomed) to try to lift others to their next levels sooner. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with Jo-Anne, our family and friends. I also enjoy cycling, weights, travel, reading, meeting new people, and seeing new places."

Today, we pause to reflect on National Sorry Day.

A day to listen, to learn, and to acknowledge the stories, strength, and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, especially the Stolen Generations.

At SchoolAid, we believe that creating a better future for young people starts with understanding the past, showing empathy, and building spaces where every child feels seen, valued, and supported.

💛 Because when young people feel they matter, they’re empowered to make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others.

Get your glow on! 🌈✨

Mona Vale Public School is going bright in fluoro to support Bear Cottage, a children’s hospice that provides compassionate care for kids with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

It’s a place where every moment matters, memories are made, and families are supported with care and kindness.

By wearing our brightest colours, we’re helping bring light, love, and support to those who need it most: https://www.schoolaid.org.au/t/fluoro-day-mona-vale-public-school

What does it mean to truly belong? 💛

At St Columba Anglican School, this term’s wellbeing theme comes to life through action, with Farrell House students supporting the Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre through their campaign.

This initiative helps provide support for families, children, and young people, while celebrating diversity and building a stronger, more inclusive community.

It’s more than a fundraiser, it’s a message of belonging.

Let's support their mission to make everyone feel welcome: https://www.schoolaid.org.au/t/farrell-house-fundraising-campaign
