Pyjamas, smiles and a very special cause! 😴✨

Mona Vale Public School recently put on their PJs and came together to raise funds for Stewart House, a wonderful local charity supporting children who are going through difficult times at home.

Stewart House gives children a chance to step away from their worries for a little while and enjoy something every child deserves: the opportunity to have fun, make friends, play, swim, feel cared for and simply be themselves. πŸŒŸπŸŠβ™€οΈπŸ€

πŸ’™ The event is over, but you can still help make a difference. Please consider supporting the fundraiser and sharing the campaign with others!

Feeling a little flat this winter? πŸ’›

Winter can bring shorter days, less sunlight and, for some young people, feelings of low mood or isolation.

Sometimes, one way to create a little more connection is to help someone else.

Giving can create a sense of purpose, belonging and connection and may bring that feel-good boost known as the β€œHelper’s High.”

For young people especially, having opportunities to contribute, care for others and see that their actions matter can be a meaningful part of positive wellbeing.

So this winter, give kindness somewhere to go.

Winter can affect more than the weather. πŸ’›

Shorter days and less sunlight can sometimes leave young people feeling more tired, isolated, or low.

That's why connection matters.

When young people have opportunities to help others, contribute to something meaningful, and feel that their actions matter, they can build a stronger sense of purpose, belonging and connection, all important parts of positive emotional wellbeing.

Sometimes, supporting youth mental health can start with something as simple as giving a child a reason to feel connected to others.

Help them care.
Help them belong.
Help them make a difference.

πŸ’™ Give kindness somewhere to go. Start a SchoolAid campaign this winter.

So why not turn that feeling into action this winter?

Whether it's a PJ Day, a winter clothing drive, a community meal, or another cause close to your heart, small acts of giving can bring people together and create meaningful impact.

Apologising to your child isn't a sign of weakness. It's a lesson in emotional safety. πŸ’›

Children are learning from us how relationships work.

When we admit we're wrong, we teach them:

✨ It's okay to make mistakes.
✨ It's safe to talk about feelings.
✨ Relationships can be repaired.

These small moments can help children learn that it's safe to express how they feel, ask for help, and repair relationships when things go wrong. Supportive, nurturing relationships are an important foundation for children's emotional wellbeing and mental health.

They don't need perfect parents. They need safe, loving relationships where repair is possible.

πŸ’™ At SchoolAid, we believe children's wellbeing is supported not only by what we teach them, but by the connections, purpose and sense of belonging we help create around them.

Sometimes, making a difference starts with simply noticing that someone needs help. πŸ’›

Maybe you have a cause close to your heart.
Maybe your child wants to help.
Maybe your school, community group, or organisation wants to support something that matters.

You don't need to wait for someone else to make the first move.

A SchoolAid campaign gives you a way to turn care into action and bring people together around a cause that matters.

Because when people are given a way to help, even a small idea can create a meaningful impact.

Happy International Youth Day! πŸ’™πŸŒ

Today, we celebrate young people not just for who they are today, but for the difference they have the potential to make tomorrow.

Young people have ideas.
They have compassion.
They have the ability to lead, create, and make a difference in their communities.

But potential grows when young people are given the opportunity to use it.

At SchoolAid, we believe one of the best ways to empower young people is to give them meaningful opportunities to care for others, lead a cause, and see that their actions can create real change.

Because when we give young people a voice, a purpose, and the chance to lead, we aren't just supporting today's youth.

We're helping shape tomorrow's changemakers. πŸ’›

Here's to every young person making a difference, whether their impact is big, small, seen, or still growing.

Happy International Youth Day!
