Bardon Community Kindy is a non-profit community organisation that has had an important presence in the Bardon Community for over 60 years. We have two units that each week provide a place for living and learning for 88 children. We are committed to providing genuine and quality early chi

ldhood education and care that is delivered by our team of highly qualified and dedicated staff. We offer a kindergarten program that is rated as exceeding the national quality standard for children aged 3.5 years to school age in the year prior to starting Prep. We are situated in the heart of Bowman Park, along the banks of Ithaca Creek and our natural environment is a valued asset and focus within our program. Our children engage in authentic and emergent inquiry, work and play under the dappled light of our natural canopy.

Our explorers teamed up in pairs for a scavenger hunt challenge, searching high and low around our playground to find the objects captured on their paper.

Along the way, they practised teamwork, communication and cooperation, while helping and encouraging each other to solve the puzzle, marking each off with a specifically coloured pen.

What an afternoon! 🌈✨

Our Rainbow Glow Disco Annual Fundraiser was an absolute blast - we’re buzzing from all the colour, dancing, laughter and community spirit!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible Bardon Kindy community. To every volunteer who gave up their time, helped set up, packed down, ran the bar and BBQ, donated prizes or jumped in wherever they were needed, we couldn’t have done it without you!

And to all the generous local businesses, families and friends who donated raffle and auction prizes — thank you for supporting our kindy and helping us make this fundraiser such a success.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along, danced, laughed, dressed up and supported our little community kindy. 💜

It truly takes a village — and what a wonderful village we have!
