The C3 course doesn’t care who you are.

It doesn’t care how fit you are, what your job title is, or how much training you’ve done.

It just asks one question:

Can you keep going?

On Saturday, hundreds of challengers answered with a resounding yes!

10/06/2026

Nothing beats the feeling of crossing the C3 finish line.

This Saturday, the exhaustion, the adrenaline and the satisfaction of knowing you pushed yourself further than you thought you could will all be waiting at the finish line.

It’s hard to explain, but once you experience it, you’ll understand why people keep coming back.

These challengers are setting the pace 🏃

With C3 taking place this Saturday, challengers are making a significant impact for veterans' families supported by Legacy Brisbane.

AECOM currently holds the top two spots on the individual fundraising leaderboard, with strong fundraising efforts also coming from EPE. Trusted to Protect and Kokoda Barracks.

👀 Can anyone catch Tim Dean?
👀 Will AECOM hold the top two positions?
👀 Who will finish as C3's highest individual fundraiser?

Thank you to every participant, donor and supporter helping ensure veterans' families receive the practical support, connection and care they deserve.

There's still time to support your favourite challenger and help them finish strong before Saturday.

Forget awkward team bonding exercises 🫡

The Canungra Combat Challenge throws your team into river crossings, jerry can carries, obstacle courses and military-inspired challenges at Kokoda Barracks.

It’s chaotic, exhausting, ridiculously fun and the ultimate test of teamwork.

The competition is heating up 🔥

With just 1 and a half weeks to go until the Canungra Combat Challenge, these teams are leading the fundraising charge for veteran families through Legacy Brisbane.

Every team has a fundraising goal of $2,000, but these teams have gone above and beyond.

The question is...

👀 Can anyone catch FKG Group?
👀 Will NIOA take top spot?
👀 Which team will finish as C3's highest fundraiser?

Keep fundraising, keep climbing the leaderboard and keep making a difference for veteran families!

31/05/2026

This is your sign to lock in your C3 team 🔥

The Canungra Combat Challenge is where fitness, teamwork and purpose collide. Expect water, obstacles, teamwork and one unforgettable day on an active military base.

Whether you’re signing up with work mates, gym friends or your social crew, C3 is all about pushing limits together while raising funds for veterans’ families.

Congratulations to Chad Sherrin on being recognised as Volunteer of the Year at the Volunteer Redlands Community Celebration 👏💙

Chad has dedicated 35 years to volunteering with Legacy Brisbane as a Legatee, supporting veterans’ families through some of life’s most challenging moments. During that time, he has supported up to 150 widows and eight Legacy children at any one time, and is estimated to have supported close to 500 widows throughout his service.

As a Legatee, Chad provides emotional and social support to veterans’ families, advocates for veterans and widows as a qualified and experienced ATDP Advocate, mentors young people, coordinates community initiatives across the Redlands community, organises the annual Nonagenarian Morning Tea for elderly widows and has also contributed to volunteer training within Legacy, helping prepare Legatees for the important roles they undertake supporting families.

Thank you, Chad, for your decades of compassion, service and dedication to veterans’ families. This recognition is so well deserved 💙

Thank you also to Volunteering Redlands and STAR Community Services for hosting the celebration.

Less than two years ago, Georgie’s husband Steven, a Navy Petty Officer with 20 years of service, passed away unexpectedly at just 43 years old.

Suddenly facing unimaginable grief and uncertainty, Georgie and her daughter Sybella turned to Legacy for support.

Legacy has recently expanded eligibility so more veterans’ families can access support during life’s hardest moments. Families facing illness, injury or loss can now turn to Legacy for emergency relief, advocacy, education support and social connection.

This tax time, your support can help ensure no veteran’s family faces hardship alone. 💙

Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating National Volunteer Week with a number of our incredible volunteers and Legatees from across South East Queensland 💙

Through morning teas, chats and small thank you gatherings, we were able to recognise just some of the people whose compassion, generosity and dedication make such a lasting difference to Legacy Brisbane families and our wider community.

From Care Groups and contact centre support to events, fundraising and direct family assistance, our volunteers and Legatees help provide comfort, connection and support to veterans’ families when it is needed most.

We only wish we could have hosted every one of our amazing volunteers across the week!

Thank you for your kindness, commitment and continued support of Legacy Brisbane and the families we serve.

This National Volunteer Week, we thank the many Legatees and volunteers who generously give their time to support Legacy Brisbane and the families we serve.

Across Queensland, Legatees and volunteers assist Legacy in so many ways, from Care Group and contact centre support to administration, events, fundraising and practical help behind the scenes. Their contribution helps ensure veterans’ families remain connected, supported and cared for, including beneficiaries who may not have a dedicated Legatee.

We recognise our 233 Legatees, volunteer members who make a personal commitment to assist the families of veterans in their local communities.

Every Legatee and volunteer plays an important role in helping Legacy families know they are not alone.

To all our Legatees and volunteers, thank you for everything you do. ❤️💙
