This a ca****la version of A Million Dreams from the Greatest Showman was a tough learn but worth it and one we came to love singing!!

We've had an exciting couple of months at Sound Avenue! Having sadly lost quite a few members, it was time for renewal and boy, have we renewed!

Last night was the first rehearsal where we had all 20 of our members in the same room at the same time and it was thrilling to hear our new sound coming together!

Our Story

Welcome to Inversion Vocal Group! Established in Brisbane in 2016, Inversion is a mixed voice (men and women) vocal group that focusses on cool arrangements and making great (not lame) vocal harmony!

We rehearse Tuesday nights of the state school terms from 6.45pm to 9.30pm and we are centrally located at Stafford. Inversion is a not-for-profit group and management of the group is done on a completely voluntary basis. However, rehearsal fees do apply to cover the overheads of running the group. Discounts are available for singers under the age of 25 and full-time students. Inversion in an audition-only choir. Major auditions are held in January each year but we do accept individual audition applications throughout the whole year! Inversion is most suited to singers between the ages of 18 and 55 however exceptions to this are made on an individual basis at the discretion of the management team. Music reading is preferred but not essential if you have a great ear for harmony! A pleasing solo voice and a strong commitment to the musical standards and rehearsal/performance schedule of the group is required.
