Brisbane's Hidden Gem Pinkenba is a town and eastern coastal suburb within the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, with a population of 350-400 people.

Pinkenba is a long narrow strip of land on the northern side of the Brisbane River, facing Moreton Bay, 10 kilometres from the Brisbane central business district. The Pinkenba town was established in 1892, it is a hidden gem of the City of Brisbane. Much like a country town, it is home to an abundance of wildlife and a family environment unlike any other suburb in Brisbane. It is easy to see why so many Brisbanites call Pinkenba home.

Sims Metal's next shipment is planned to commence on the 10th of August and run for approximately 6 - 7 days.
Under certain conditions, noise emanating from the loading of scrap metal from their premises at 69 Tingira Street Pinkenba for exporting may reach your dwelling.
Sims Metal's apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will do their utmost to minimise this noise.
A notice will also be put on the notice board at the post office.

Sims Limited and Alter Steel have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a scrap supply and services agreement supporting Alter Steel’s proposed Electric Arc Furnace planned to be operational at Pinkenba in 2028.
