Rehearsal last night was extra special as we celebrated the upcoming wedding of two cherished Ca****la Chorale members, Patricia and Neil.

There’s something beautiful about a community that not only sings together, but shares life’s milestones as well.

As the year draws to a close, we’d like to wish our wonderful Ca****la Chorale community a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 🎄✨

Thank you for singing with us, cheering us on, and sharing in the music throughout the year ❤️🎶

We’re now taking a holiday break and will be back from 2 February — refreshed and ready for another year of connection and song.

We’re delighted to share that $1,227 was generously donated at the door and will go directly to support our wonderful concert venue host - St Gerard Majella Church. Thank you to everyone who gave so freely — your kindness and goodwill truly reflected the spirit of the concert.

QPAC’s longest running event, Spirit of Christmas returns tonight!

Join musical theatre stars Daniel Belle (Les Misérables, Cinderella, My Fair Lady) and Nina Korbe - Soprano (West Side Story, La bohème, Flight) and host Christie Whelan Browne (Muriel’s Wedding the Musical, Company, Xanadu) for our most celebrated concert of the year!

Joined by special guest Waveney Yasso, their star-studded line-up will be beautifully supported by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Simon Kenway, and the exquisite voices of the Spirit of Christmas Choir – including members of the QPAC Chamber Choir, Multicultural Australia Choir, Ca****la Chorale and Children's Health Queensland Community Choir – and Voices of Birralee.

QPAC’s Spirit of Christmas is a celebration of the true meaning of the festive season; an occasion to rejoice and reflect on the year that has passed and embrace the season’s enduring message of Peace, Love and Joy.
