On August 22, we had the privilege of conducting our 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 in 𝐒𝐭𝐨. 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫, bringing together 35 participants—students, Barangay Tanods, and Barangay Police from different barangays.

The participants learned essential life-saving skills, including the proper steps of 𝐂𝐏𝐑 (𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧) and other important basic life support techniques. More than just a training, it was an opportunity to equip our community with the knowledge and confidence to respond when every second matters.

Our heartfelt thanks to the incredible team from the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, especially our 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐌𝐁𝐀, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐨, 𝐄𝐌𝐓, for the informative discussions, hands-on training, and dedication in sharing these life-saving skills.

We are also deeply grateful to 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐨, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 who generously gave their time and support to make this program possible.

Our help is urgently needed in the towns of Sarangani, Jose Abad Santos, and Glan, Davao Occidental in Mindanao. These areas suffered the most during the Mindanao earthquake and people are still reeling from its blows.

A devastating earthquake recently struck Mindanao on June 8, 2026, taking lives, injuring many, and leaving homes and infrastructure in ruins. Just as communities were trying to pick up the pieces, Typhoon Inday (Bavi) swept through and compounded the disaster.

The chiller we donated through our Hope Oven Project is officially hard at work! Look at these delicious cakes freshly baked by the talented inmate bakers at Quezon City Jail. 🍰✨

Beyond baking skills, we want to bring hope and dignity to those behind bars. This coming October, in observance of National Correctional Consciousness Week, we are blessing inmates across 7 different jails in Metro Manila and Baguio with essential Care Packs (Hygiene Kits).
