In the state budget this week, will QLD GOV update their original estimates for the cost of Victoria Park stadium and all Olympic facilities?
Or will Crisafulli & Bleijie hope people and media believe that the old, pre fuel crisis, estimates are still realistic, despite inflation, despite the predicted worker and housing shortage and predicted extreme weather?

Tasmania’s Pencil Pine and King Billy pine need our help 🌲

Right now, submissions are open for the petition to list these pines (Athrotaxis) as critically endangered. These ancient species have suffered significant loss and damage in recent decades due to fire and dry lightning, and the science tells us that climate change is their biggest threat. Despite Athrotaxis communities meeting multiple criteria for listing as Critically Endangered, Environment Minister Murray Watt rejected this proposal last year. Let’s put the pressure on him!
