We now have a select range of formal dresses and gowns for hire at Amity Place Community Hub, Keperra!!

We don't have the range we previously had, however, we have many beautiful dress styles, colours and sizes 4 - 22.

💜 Sending a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who supported our sale this weekend, and helped us raise funds for Amity Place supports and services.

🩷 We are so grateful to see so many of the beautiful dresses and gowns be given a new home and life.

💜 A shout out to Formally Ever After Qld Inc. and North Brisbane Performing Arts & Education who collected many, many dresses and gowns to have new homes and life too.

🩷 And a SPECIAL THANK YOU to the amazing Jackie and Debbie who gave their all this weekend, and had provided much love and kindness over the years providing a safe and caring space for many, many women who had walked through the Bubble & Squeak doors.

💜 Thank you to all the volunteers who had made Bubble & Squeak an amazing service and safe space for people to land, to find a bit of beauty and magic to add to their lives.

🩷 Thank you to the Bubble & Squeak founder, Christine, who created something new and nourishing out of something pre-used - the foundation of the name and the service.

💜 Lastly, this is not the end of the dress and gown hire service, this is a new beginning and transformation. Amity Place will continue to provide formal dress hire and sales of some items, at the Community Hub - Shop 1 / 265 Blaker Road, Keperra.

We still have more formal and wedding dresses and gowns to find their new homes.

Come along Sunday, 12th April from 10am - 2pm at Aspley Hypermarket, 59 Albany Creek Rd, Aspley.

We’re located to the right of the main entrance, next to the garden centre.

Dresses are for sale by a donation, and these proceeds go toward Amity Place, support and services for people and families impacted by domestic and family violence.

We were given some sad news for Bubble & Squeak today, that our venue will soon be leased out and we have to vacate the premises in a week.

Good news for everyone else, is that now we will have a weekend sale of ALL THE DRESSES!!

All dresses will be available to purchase by donation.

This Saturday, 11th and Sunday, 12th April.

After a bit of a break and settling in to the new year, we are now ready to reopen the Bubble & Squeak doors for 2026!

We have restocked and reorganised the space and have available:

❤️ FOR HIRE:

Formal dresses and gowns from sizes 6 - 24 in a muitude of colours, styles and lengths, some clutches and accessories. *All dress hire is by small donation.

🩷 FOR KEEPS:

Wedding gowns and veils.

💜 FOR SALE:

Cocktail style and evening wear dresses from *$15 - $20 each.

*All proceeds from dress hire and sales goes directly towards Amity Place, supporting people and families impacted by domestic and family violence.

Located at Aspley Hypermarket. Dress fittings are by appoitment only.

If you’re doing a clear out after Christmas and looking to donate high quality clothes or formal dresses, wedding dresses, shoes, bags, clutches, jewellery and accessories, Amity Place and Bubble & Squeak are accepting donations for their op shop and formal dress hire & sales stores.
