Prime Minister In Bilaspur, will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation development projects worth more than Rs 33,700 crore across power, oil and gas, rail, road, education, and housing sectors.

Multiple power generation and transmission projects will be undertaken to strengthen the grid and enhance power availability across Chhattisgarh

Special focus will be on development of multiple rail and road projects to improve connectivity, especially in the tribal and industrial regions of Chhattisgarh

In a major boost to education infrastructure in the region, PM will dedicate 130 PM SHRI Schools across 29 districts in Chhattisgarh

Realising the vision of Housing for all, Griha Pravesh of 3 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) will be held in Chhattisgarh

‘Bastar Olympics’ Starts - In Chhattisgarh from November 1st to November 20th, athletes will showcase their talents in various sports including athletics, archery, badminton, football, hockey, weightlifting, karate, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball and tug of war.

This event not only promotes sports culture in the tribal-dominated Bastar region of Chhattisgarh but also provides a platform for our talented athletes. Competitions will be held at block level from November 1-20, district level from November 21-25, and divisional level from November 26-30.

Let's come together to celebrate sportsmanship and talent in Bastar!

November 1 is celebrated as the Chhattisgarh Foundation Day - or Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava - since 2000 when the Union government declared it an independent state. Earlier, Chhattisgarh was a part of Madhya Pradesh. This year is the 24th edition of the state's foundation day.
PM Modi greets people of Chhattisgarh on its foundation day - “I wish that the state, adorned with a wonderful amalgamation of glorious traditions and tribal culture, continues to progress rapidly on the path of development,”
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has greeted the people on the state foundation day of the state. Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh and other leaders also wished the people on this occasion. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao also congratulated the people of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of the state’s Foundation Day.
Today Chhattisgarh is competing with many big states in financial discipline and infrastructure development among others.
