Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāh wa barakātuh 🤍✨
This time last year, I went through an experience like never before! SubḥānAllāh… never in my days as a kāfir adult did I serve prison time — yet as a Muslim, I found myself behind bars 🤦🏾♂️💔 Allah knows my intentions better than anyone. May Allāh forgive me and have mercy on me. Āmīn.
That period came with some hard but powerful lessons 📚🔥:
1️⃣ We plan, but Allāh is the Best of Planners 🤲🏾
2️⃣ The resources to learn our dīn should never be neglected 📖✨
3️⃣ Family must never be neglect ❤️
4️⃣ The importance of education is real 🎓📘
5️⃣ Easy access to the masjid is a blessing we take for granted 🕌💡
6️⃣ Appreciate the food you can access with ease 🍛🍞🤲🏾
7️⃣ Running water and electricity are true blessings 🚿💧💡
8️⃣ The character of a Muslim has more impact than we expect 🌟🕊️
9️⃣ Some people will do anything for a price 😢💔
🔟 Never again will I put anything before my family — other than Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ 🙏🏾🤍
With that, I sincerely seek forgiveness from anyone I have harmed, upset, or caused distress to. Please forgive me 🤲🏾.
I also ask forgiveness from anyone I owe money to and have been unable to repay due to that unforeseen circumstance. May Allāh make it easy for me to fulfil your rights.
I forgive everyone who wronged me and my family — those who spoke ill of us, slandered us, backbitten us, or even stole from us. I leave their affairs to Allāh ⚖️.
As for those responsible for my jailing — I will take my rights on the Day of Judgement. Allāh is the Most Just.
May this Ramaḍān be filled with blessings, mercy, growth, and joy for us all 🌙✨🤲🏾.
I am beyond grateful to be with my family this year 🤍. And to the brothers still inside — may you make the most of this month, grow in īmān, and return better than before. Āmīn 🤲🏾💙
