The FREE Costume Design Workshop series is still running through to September 4, with acclaimed designer Sarah Winter 🛼. Inspired by Windmill’s Mama Does Derby at the Brisbane Festival, this is your chance to dive into the bold world of derby fashion, alter-egos, and self-expression.

Get hands-on as you design your own unique costume, craft your Derby name, and bring your persona to life—all while connecting with a welcoming, creative community. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned maker, everyone is welcome!

📍 Where: North West Community Hub, 180 Jubilee Terrace, Bardon QLD 4065
🗓 When: Wednesdays, 3:30pm – 5:30pm

Gay Skate are celebrating and supporting rainbow and trans young people for Wear it Purple in Brisbane as part of their monthly Pride Skate this month.

Come join an all-ages event that welcomes everyone to dress in purple and skate, dance, and connect in a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere.

When: Sunday 23rd June from 5pm to 7:30pm
Where: Skateaway Albany Creek Upstairs 700 Albany Creek Road, Albany Creek. Brisbane QLD
Entry: $17.50pp + Skate or Blade Hire $8.50/
Non-Skaters: Free
No booking, pay at the door
