A wonderful night celebrating 3 years of Ukrainian Club Brisbane and supporting the future of our community care work. 🇺🇦💙💛
Thank you to everyone who joined us for UCB’s 3rd Birthday Fundraising Zabava. It was a beautiful evening of food, music, dancing, laughter and community spirit.
Together, we raised over $8,500 for UCQ’s UCHAC fund, helping us keep our Community Liaison Officer role in place.
This role continues to be vital for displaced Ukrainians and their families in Queensland, providing practical support, connection and continuity at a time when many still need help navigating life in Australia.
A heartfelt thank you to our performers, volunteers, kitchen team, restaurant staff, raffle donors, sponsors and everyone who bought tickets, donated or helped make the night such a success.
Special thanks to our Community Liaison Officer, Tetyana Kosynska, whose dedication and resilience over nearly four years has made such a difference to so many people in our community.
And of course, happy 3rd birthday to Ukrainian Club Brisbane, a restaurant built on Ukrainian hospitality, culture and community, and still proudly employing and supporting Ukrainians who have arrived in Queensland because of the ongoing war.
