Last Friday's meeting was conducted by our new member Sindhu who was a first time toastmaster 🎙️
Our member Elizabeth has achieved so much in a short period of time, including pathway milestones and taking up different types of roles. Friday she was celebrated for completing her pathways level and she also did an excellent speech on leadership 🏆🙌
We also had a brief business meeting and are looking forward to the changeover dinner this Friday 🍽️

We had yet another amazing meeting last Friday.
We were graced by the presence of lots of guests and a very full house including DTM Shane Cooper visiting our club and sharing his thoughts on the meeting.

Toastmaster of the evening was our champion speaker Sachini. The theme was "Actions speak louder than words"

We had four prepared speeches including an outstanding ice breaker by our new member Sindhu who has recently joined the club.

To represent the Area Director we had Melanie Surplice who gave us the uplifting news that Brisbane Leaders Toastmasters club has received the *Select Distinguished Toastmasters* club award this year. 🏆

This achievement is a testament to the efforts of each and every member of the club—members who show up meeting after meeting and display the courage to speak and fearlessly share their stories. 🎉
